How to Root

Use tool nexus-root-toolkit, It can unlocking, rooting, relocking and unrooting simplified!

As said in it’s page, you can follow the steps

1. Download the file
2. Install it to any directory
3. When it launches select your model type
4. Configure your drivers using the guide
5. Backup your data > Unlock > Root > Enjoy!

This tool is the easiest way to root Nexus7 I have ever find and used.
